This conference explores how Luxembourg has developed into a major European financial centre despite its small size, examining the roles of financial markets, regulation, lobbying, taxation, and offshore strategies in shaping the European institutional and financial landscape. It brings together academics and practitioners to discuss Luxembourg’s influence on EU financial governance, banking resilience, tax policy, and the evolution of European financial integration.
The event is part of the research activities of the Robert Schuman Initiative – Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence.
