She also serves as Directrice d\u2019\u00e9tudes and Mobility Advisor.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"research\"\n    >\nResearch<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p><strong>Main research areas<\/strong><br>Twentieth and twenty-first century literature, especially in Francophone areas; Feminine writing; Gender studies; Feminine authorship; Stylistic studies of French languages; Comparative literature; Relationship between Literature and Arts; Construction of identities in literature and in stylistics; Literary theory.<\/p>\n\n<p>Since her Dissertation, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Barthelmebs has been particularly interested in the link between French-speaking studies and gender studies, which appears to be one of the major challenges currently facing research in the Humanities. Her published and current work focuses on gendered constructions and women\u2019s writing in French-speaking literatures of the 20<sup>th<\/sup> and 21<sup>st<\/sup> centuries. She recently wrote the monograph <em>Regards sur la litt\u00e9rature francophone de 1950 \u00e0 nos jours<\/em>. During the last years, she co-edited several books, e.g. with Laetitia Saintes, <em>Penser la place des femmes dans l&#8217;histoire litt\u00e9raire francophone. Enjeux et perspectives<\/em> [forthcoming, 2025]. She has also been responsible for the organization of many events, for which she took charge not only of the scientific aspects, but also of the fundraising and logistics.<br>Currently, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Barthelmebs is working on a book on the trajectories and legitimisation strategies of twentieth-century Francophone women authors.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"teaching\"\n    >\nTeaching<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Barthelmebs teaches at the Bachelor and Master levels, offering specialized courses on French Studies (Critics, Literary History and Methodology) and interdisciplinary courses.
