Translational Neuroscience with a focus on Biological Imaging at the 糖心Vlog. She leads the Chemical and Molecular Neurobiology research group at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"research\"\n    >\nResearch<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p>Her research combines neuroscience, chemical biology, protein engineering and advanced microscopy to develop innovative tools for studying axonal injury, neurodegeneration and neuroinflammation. She pioneered minimally invasive protein-labelling strategies based on genetic code expansion and bioorthogonal chemistry, enabling the selective labelling of proteins in living cells, including primary neurons.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n\n<li class=\"list-highlighted__item  wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item\">\n    <header class=\"list-highlighted__header wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-header\">\n    \n<h4 class=\"title text-18 font-bold has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"teaching\"\n    >\nTeaching<\/h4>\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-bigtext\">\n    <span>\n        \n    <\/span>\n<\/div><\/header><div class=\"list-highlighted__body wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-body\">\n    <div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-highlighted-list-item-free-content-area\">\n    \n<p>She currently teaches the Molecular Medicine I course, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases.
